There's a reason they call it Musical Comedy and Broadway In Stitches pays homage to the funniest the great white way has to offer. The musicale features comedic songs from some of musical theatre's greatest composers: Porter, Menken, Bock, and Loesser, to name a few. This show is filled all the wit and charm of popular Broadway. Keith Baker, creator, writer and director, has assembled a top-notch cast of versatile performers for this comic tribute to the Great White Way. Chevy Anz, Jennie Eisenhower, Patrick Garrigan, Lynette Knapp, and Steven Stein-Grainger, are the performers who will have you laughing, tapping your feet, and humming along to the great songs. Chevy Anz, newcomer to the BRT stage, has thrilled audiences across the country in such shows as Evita, Carousel, Nine, Carnival, Nunsense, Cabaret, and Fiddler On The Roof. The other newcomer to BRT is Patrick Garrigan. Patrick most recently appeared as LeFou in the Atlanta Theatre Under the Stars production of Disney's Beauty and the Beast. In addition he has appeared across the country in Titanic, Fiorello, Cats, Bat Boy: The Musical, Peter Pan and The Secret Garden. The favorites returning to BRT are Jennie Eisenhower, Lynette Knapp, and Steven Stein-Grainger. Jennie was last seen at BRT in Webber, Wildhorn, and Weill. Jennie was last season's Barrymore winner for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical for The Wild Party at the Media Theatre. In addition, she has appeared at the Wilma Theatre, Act II Playhouse, and The Arden Theatre. Lynette Knapp was most recently seen as Alcmene in BRT's production of Olympus On My Mind. Lynette is also a veteran of BRT's Summer and Winter Musicale Series and made her BRT debut to critical acclaim in A Little Night Music. Steven Stein-Grainger also made his debut in A Little Night Music at BRT and has appeared numerous times in the Summer Musicale Series as well. For the past year Steven has been in the National Tour of Phantom of The Opera (another BRT favorite Brad Little was the Phantom in this production) as the temperamental Italian tenor, Ubaldo Piangi. BRT's Summer Musicale band of favorites, Robert Gargiullo, Lawrence Jacobs and Neil Nemetz will once again be playing their hearts out under the baton and keyboard of Keith Baker.
