Silver Screen Favorites Next Offering at BRT For Immediate Release: June 23, 2005 The second offering of Bristol Riverside Theatre's Summer Musicale Series That's Entertainment: The Golden Age of the Hollywood Musical comes hot on the heels of the smash hit Broadway In Stitches. That's Entertainment: The Golden Age of the Hollywood Musical will have limited run of only 8 performances from July 7 - 17, 2005. Memorable melodies from those marvelous movie musicals make this musicale truly magical! Filled with favorites from Hollywood Musicals past and present, the songs leap from the silver screen and fill the theatre with music. If I Only Had A Brain, Sooner or Later, Blues In The Night, Heart and Soul, That's Entertainment, Thanks For The Memories, You Do Something To Me, and On A Slow Boat To China are just some of the many songs you'll hear from the talented cast of seven performers and the top-notch four-piece band. The cast for this silver screen extravaganza will include: Chevy Anz, who was last seen in Broadway In Stitches at BRT, and has thrilled audiences across the country in such shows as Evita, Carousel, Nine, Carnival, Nunsense, Cabaret, and Fiddler On The Roof; Jan Baldwin, a local favorite, has appeared on the BRT stage numerous times and is the vocalist with the Vince Lopez Orchestra; Philip Chaffin, also a BRT veteran, has just released his second CD entitled Warm Spring Night; Lynette Knapp, a veteran of the BRT mainstage and Summer Musicale Series, was last seen in Broadway In Stitches and Olympus On My Mind; John Moletress first appeared in A Little Night Music, and has been seen numerous times as well in the Summer Musicale Series; Keith Spencer, a Summer and Winter Musicale Series regular, was last seen at BRT in I've Got My Love To Keep Me Warm; and Steven Stein-Grainger, another veteran of the Summer Musicale Series, just completed a year long run in the National Tour of Phantom of The Opera (another BRT favorite Brad Little was the Phantom in this production) as the temperamental Italian tenor, Ubaldo Piangi. BRT's Summer Musicale band of favorites, Robert Gargiullo, Lawrence Jacobs and Neil Nemetz, will once again be playing their hearts out under the baton and keyboard of Keith Baker.
