City Theater Brings Outrageous Musical to Wilmington Stage!! Eager fans heard to cry, "Bring us the Virgins!" For Immediate Release: September 3, 2005 City Theater Company, Wilmington's Off-Broadway, and the resident theater company of the downtown Baby Grand Theatre, announces the stiletto-heeled-kick-off of the 05-06 season with Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show on Friday, October 21st - Saturday, November 12th. All Rocky Horror veterans and Rocky Horror virgins (40 year-old and otherwise) are invited to come to this strange, fun and riotous production of The Rocky Horror Show...the stage musical hit that inspired the famous cult movie phenomenon, The Rocky Horror PICTURE Show. With a fantastic professional cast and the innovative directing team of Producing Artistic Director Michael Gray and Musical Director Joe Trainor (who's CTC production of Hedwig and the Angry Inch earned CTC 2 Barrymore Awards last year), this show is sure to bring people out of their seats, into the aisles and dancing in wild frenzy!! If seeing dancing transvestites from outer space, a nubile pair of young fiancées stripped to their underwear and a muscle-bond hunk of a monster just this side of Muscle & Fitness magazine sounds appealing, then this is just the show the doctor ordered! AND... to truly prepare yourself for this awe-inspiring production, join CTC for their KICK-OFF ROCKY HORROR BASH!! This event, held at Kahunaville on Saturday, October 15th (one week before the show opens), will feature live performances by the cast of Rocky Horror, look-alike contests, bands, Rocky-Themed silent auction, dinner buffet, chances to win free tickets to CTC's production of the Rocky Horror Show and an opportunity to mingle with CTC's cast and crew. Don't miss this BLOW-OUT EVENT!!
