"..The History of the World According to Ben.." Ben Dibble stars in Act II Cabaret February 25

For Immediate Release: February 7, 2006
Media Contact: Ted Taylor, Act II Playhouse, 215.576.7212

Perennial favorite Ben Dibble is back at Act II Playhouse! Dibble stars in a one-man-show at the Playhouse at 8 PM on Saturday, February 25.

In "The History of the World According to Ben," Dibble will present a whimsical narrative - in song. From standards, to rock, to musical theatre, history never sounded so good - and so funny.

Tickets for Act II's second musical cabaret of the season cost $20 and can be purchased by phone at 215-654-0200 at the box office, 56 E. Butler Avenue, Ambler, PA.

Dibble has starred in several plays and musicals at Act II Playhouse, most recently in fall 2005, co-starring with Tony Braithwaite in the runaway hit musical comedy The Big Bang (which also had a four-week run under Act II's auspices at the Kimmel Center). Ben has also appeared at Act II in Mary's Wedding, the Harry Chapin musical Remember When the Music, and in the earlier Chapin musical Lies & Legends in a role that won him a Barrymore nomination.

Other credits include La Vie en Bleu at the Walnut Street Theatre, Big Love at the Wilma, the title role in Bat Boy: The Musical with 1812 Productions, and Chris in the critically acclaimed Miss Saigon at the Lenape Regional Performing Arts Center.
