Exciting Changes to DTC's Board of Directors - Delaware Theatre Company Welcomes Five New Members For Immediate Release: June 20, 2006 While Delaware Theatre Company's 2006-2007 season will present audiences with "Twists and Turns," the theatre is pleased to have several new friends along for the ride. DTC welcomes five new members to its esteemed Board of Directors as well as several changes to the Board's Executive Committee. "We are delighted to have folks of this caliber joining our outstanding Board and are delighted to welcome the new officers. We believe strongly that the Board should reflect our vibrant community and serve as prime advocates for the Theatre Company," says Board Chair, Marilyn R. Hayward. Harold Gray, a native of Washington, D.C., moved to Delaware 30 years ago to work for Hercules Inc. and held a variety of research, engineering, development, and leadership positions throughout a 20-year career. He was then hired to work for Andersen Consulting, now Accenture, where he managed complex IT system implementations for global SAP clients. In 1998, Mr. Gray was recruited by German investors to start an SAP computer consulting company in the Americas, Technidata America. As President and CEO, Mr. Gray has navigated Technidata America's start-up and growth to over 50 employees. In December 2005, Mr. Gray chose to reduce his role and duties at Technidata America in order to give more focus to local community, family, and personal aspirations, although he still provides support and expertise to Technidata and remains an active member of its Board of Directors. Mr. Gray is also an active member of the Delaware Environmental Appeals Board, to which he was appointed by Governor Minner. He lives in north Wilmington with his wife, Magistrate Judge Linda Gray. Kevin Kleinschmidt is Managing Director, Partnership Development for Barclaycard US. Mr. Kleinschmidt and his team forge and maintain strategic relationships with a wide variety of organizations, including major airlines and travel providers, national retailers, leading affinity organizations, and financial institutions. He was previously the director of Juniper's Strategic Planning group, which was responsible for raising private equity investments to support Juniper's initial growth. Mr. Kleinschmidt has also worked for First USA, where he was involved in strategic planning and business development in the Internet marketing group, for Morgan Stanley as an equity research analyst, and also JP Morgan. Mr. Kleinschmidt has an MBA in Finance and Accounting from New York University and an undergraduate degree from the College of William and Mary. David Nicoli is Vice President, Corporate Affairs for AstraZeneca in the United States. He is responsible for federal and state government affairs, corporate, brand and employee communications, corporate philanthropy, ally development, and community relations. Mr. Nicoli began his career in law in 1983, and as a litigation associate in New York and later in Washington, D.C., he represented numerous Fortune 500 clients in the areas of civil and criminal litigation, as well as on regulatory and legislative matters. In 1991, Mr. Nicoli joined Altria Group as Legislative Counsel in its Washington Relations Office where for the next 12 years, he held a number of additional leadership positions. Mr. Nicoli graduated magna cum laude with a law degree from American University in Washington, D.C. and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota where he majored in political science. Mr. Nicoli is a member of the District of Columbia Bar, the Issues Management Council, the Arthur W. Page Society, the Public Relations Seminar, and sits on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement in Delaware. He is Chairman of both the AstraZeneca Foundation and the AstraZeneca Healthcare Foundation, non-profit organizations dedicated to improving the lives of patients by providing medication to those without access and means, and supporting cultural, scientific, educational and other worthy charitable initiatives. Diane Hardy Remy is Senior Vice President, Retail Operations and Travel Services of AAA Mid-Atlantic, the fifth largest AAA-affiliated motoring and travel club in North America. As Senior Vice President, Ms. Remy's responsibilities include overseeing operations and services in the Club's 53 retail branch offices, directing all Travel and Auto Travel services, managing the organization's Member and Travel Contact Centers, the Show Your Card and Save program, and the Eastern Automobile Clubs Association's automated TripTik Center. Ms. Remy began her career with AAA Virginia in 1982 as a Branch Manager, and has since served as a Managing Director responsible for Branch, Travel, and Member Service operations, and as Vice President, Operations. After the merger of AAA Virginia and AAA Mid-Atlantic, Ms. Remy was appointed Vice President, Southern Region, overseeing the Club's territory in Virginia and the greater Washington, D.C. metro area. In 1999, Ms. Remy relocated to Philadelphia to assume the role of Vice President, Travel Services. Ms. Remy is a former resident of Martinsville, VA; Richmond, VA; Downingtown, PA; and now resides with her husband, David Remy, at Christina Landing in Wilmington, Delaware. Eric Trux has been Treasurer for ING Direct since January 2003, where he is responsible for managing all aspects of the Capital Markets function. Mr. Trux has focused his 16 year career on Banking and Financial Risk Management having worked for or consulted some of the country's leading financial institutions including Bank One, Cal Fed, Freddie Mac and Wells Fargo. Eric and his wife Shary have 3 children and have lived in Wilmington since June 2003 where they relocated from the San Francisco Bay Area. Changes to the Board's Executive Committee include Thorpe Moeckel, Managing Principal at Moeckel Carbonell Associates, Inc., who will advance in his role from Vice President to President. In addition, Hugh Bleemer, Executive Vice President of Relationship Management for JPMorgan Chase, will join the committee as Vice President, and Peter Atwater will enter as Treasurer. Continuing in their positions are Marilyn R. Hayward, Principal at Hayward & Associates, as Chair; Rob Jansen as Vice President; and Carla J. Markell as Secretary. Delaware Theatre Company's 2006-2007 season is sponsored by JPMorgan Chase. Artist transportation provided by Amtrak.
