Come help Simpatico Theatre Project fundraise for our upcoming season. This is not your average night of Trivia. Our questions will make you long for your little laptop. But this challenge isn't about proving you can use a search engine, so maybe you'd better bring that friend who has an unhealthy obsession with the Simpsons, ancient Greek architecture, and AC/DC. You just might need him like you've never needed him before. Join us for guest hosts, tough questions, top prizes for the three best teams, and the chance to have tangible proof of your mighty, mighty intellect.unless, that is, you're chicken. Simpatico Theatre Project is a young theatre company who, through our productions, aims to encourage our audience's realization that awareness alone will not solve problems. After Simpatico's first production, Stop Kiss, the Philadelphia Weekly hailed, "Simpatico Theatre Project is a young company with a lot going for it" and their second production, Vietnam 101: The War on Campus, received such praise as "all you could want in live entertainment" (Philadelphia Metro). For these productions Simpatico collaborated with The Center for Lesbian and Gay Civil Rights, WAVE (Women's Anti-Violence Education), and the New Voter's Project to help our audiences find conduits for change. Simpatico Theatre Project is excited to announce our second season, which includes Patient A by Lee Blessing, a play that tells the story of Kimberly Bergalis who contracted AIDS from her dentist, and Angels Fall by Lanford Wilson, which examines how a chance encounter during a radiation scare affects an unlikely cross-section of people taking refuge in a church. And for the second year, STP will be participating in AIDS Walk Philly on October 15th during their run of Patient A. This company is also looking forward to collaborating with other nonprofit organizations that reflect the issues in their upcoming productions. Simpatico Theatre Project hopes that their Trivia Challenge will help to fund these exciting upcoming productions and events. What: Simpatico Trivia Challenge fundraiser
