Ms. Terry A. Pearce, Vice President of Human Resources. At Severn Trent Services, Inc., Fort Washington, PA has been appointed to the Act II Playhouse Board of Directors it was announced by Dr. Jay Rosan, Chairman of the Board.

Ms. Pearce began her association with Act II in November, 2005, when she served as a Business on Board observer from the Arts and Business Council. She has served on Act II board committees during the past year, most notably on the one that organized and directed the theatre's successful Gala last April.

Prior to joining Severn Trent Ms. Pearce held human resources management positions with Independence Blue Cross and the Vanguard Group. She is a graduate of Shippensburg University where she earned a BA in communications and is a resident of Downingtown, PA.

In other board business H. R. Ted Taylor of Abington, PA was appointed vice chairman of the board and Ms. Barbara Gross CPA of Jenkintown, PA was named secretary.

Act II Playhouse is Montgomery County's premier professional theatre. It was incorporated as a non profit theatre in August, 1998, and opened in April, 1999. The playhouse is now presenting its' eighth full five play season, scheduled through June, 2007. In addition to the theatrical productions Act II has been actively involved in community programs, such as bringing theatrical experiences to area high school students and ongoing involvement in charitable causes.
