Festivities will include a Ribbon-Cutting of the new performance and workshop space. Also, there will be a salute to all the Community Partners who have helped to make the programs at the Walking Fish Theatre a great success for the past nine months.

"The Walking Fish Theatre is a great theatre opportunity for the community of Fishtown/Kensington. B. Someday is bringing a lot to this neck of Philadelphia with their quirky artistic sense," says Richard Kotulski, Casting Director, Wilma Theatre

B. Someday Productions is the resident theatre company at The Walking Fish Theatre. B. Someday has been presenting original, adaptation and extant productions since 1997. The Walking Fish Theatre is the most recent addition to the Frankford Avenue Arts Corridor in the Fishtown/Kensington community. The Walking Fish building was renovated by Stan Heleva, member of Dramatist Guild of America, with lots of local help and volunteers from St Francis Mission. The building was purchased from the New Kensington Community Development Cooperation with the intent to renovate the decaying flophouse into an arts business. In the 1940s it was a barbershop. Now it is a beacon of revitalization offering all manner of performance and arts education.
