Walking Fish 24-Hour Stand-Up Comedy Marathon For Immediate Release: July 28, 2008
How long can you stand up? Come to Walking Fish Comedy’s 24-Hour Labor Day Comedy Marathon and see stand-up comics writhe under the hot lights til all hours of the night (and morning). On Monday, September 1, 2008 some of the best and hot young talent in Philadelphia stand-up will start working for 24 hours straight at the Walking Fish Theatre, 2509 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19125 as part of the 2008 Philly Fringe Festival offerings at the Walking Fish Theatre. Beginning 12:00pm on Monday, September 1, 2008 and going until 11:59am on Tuesday, September 2, 2008, watch funny guys such as Doogie Horner, Chip Chantry and others get their 15 minutes of fame... 96 times... at the Walking Fish Theatre. Or try your own hand at drawing smirks and chortles from those whom have nowhere better to be during the Open Mic segment of the 24-Hour Labor Day Comedy Marathon. A special award of a One Year Walking Fish Pass (good for every event at the Fish for 2008-09) will go to an audience member who stays the whole show. All tickets: $5.00! Stay as long as you like.
