The Players Club of Swarthmore Theater is continuing the theatrical travels of their "Oh, the Places We'll Go..." season with visits to Vienna in the 1800s & the Hamptons in the 1980s. Romance/Romance hits the Swarthmore stage in January.

This is a pair of love stories as different as their settings. One asks if the thrill of new romance can survive discovery of deceit. The other explores the question of whether years of marriage can survive when flirtation threatens to become something more. Two mini-musicals come together to provide the answers along with plenty of laughs.

Veteran Players Club of Swarthmore director Theodora K. Psitos (Wallingford) needed to assemble an extraordinarily talented cast - since each performer plays two roles (one in each story). Some Players Club regulars worked with new faces to make a stellar quartet: Robert Welch of Wilmington, DE; Donna Dougherty of West Chester; Joseph Spiecker of Horsham, and (making her PCS debut) Diane Davis of Havertown.

Romance/Romance runs January 8-11 and 15-17 (please note the shorter-than-usual run). Thursday, Friday and Saturday performances are at 8pm and Saturday and the Sunday matinée is at 2pm. The Players Club of Swarthmore Theater is located just minutes from the Blue Route and I-95 at 614 Fairview Avenue in Swarthmore.
