New Classes at People's Light: Stage Combat and Scenic Painting For Immediate Release: January 15, 2009
The Theatre School at People's Light is offering new classes for youth and adults in the winter 2009 session. Will Scribner, Scenic Painter at People's Light, is offering a one-day workshop on how to recreate the appearance of brick and stone. This class is for drama teachers, college students, advanced high school students, and any interested adults. For adults interested in exploring acting, People's Light has evening classes. Students in grades 7-12 can learn Unarmed Stage Combat from Resident Company Actor Ahren Potratz. This introductory course offers instruction in the choreography and skills of stage combat, a useful physical discipline for students with a variety of interests.
