The Barnstormers present one of William Shakespeare's greatest and well-known tragedy themed plays Romeo and Juliet starting February 20th running weekends through March 7th. The famous story of the "star-crossed" young lovers, Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet address the issues of the consequences of immature blind passion, hatred and prejudice. Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet are young teenagers who fall deeply in love but their families are bitter enemies. Regardless of the feud between their families they marry in secret. They make every effort to conceal their actions but the story ends in tragedy when Romeo, Juliet, Tybalt, Mercutio, and Paris all die. Romeo and Juliet has been the theme for many well known shows the most famous of course West Side Story. Non-traditional casting and time setting along with original music specially created for the show. A classic among classics, this is one not to be missed.
