WHO: The Walnut Street Theatre and its newest patrons

WHAT: An exclusive invite-only Season Preview Party celebrating the Walnut's upcoming 201st Anniversary Season. Sixteen fine city restaurants will offer samplings from their menus to hundreds of guests. Additionally, Six local breweries/wineries will be offerering refreshments. Producing Artistic Director Bernard Havard will host a special question and answer session. Five performers, a mix of local talent and Walnut favorites (Peter Schmitz, Brandon O'Rourke, Kate Fahrner, Marcus Stevens and Denise Whelan) will sing selections from the Walnut's upcoming Season. Participating restaurants include:

IRISH PUB, JL SULLIVAN'S, ZOT, LA FOURNO PIZZA , LES BONS TEMPS, SUPPER MCCORMICK and SCHMICK'S, MORIARTY'S , MORIMOTO, QDOBA MEXICAN GRILL, QUIZNO'S, FORK, TOP TOMATO PIZZA KITCHEN, BUDDAKAN, BONTE, PALACE AT THE BEN, BLUE COAT GIN, YUENGLING, CICIONE WATER, TERRANOVA WINES, CHICK'S WINE BAR, and TRIUMPH BREWING CO.

WHY: The Walnut Street Theatre is gearing up for its upcoming 201st season, featuring Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Oliver!, The Eclectic Society, Noel Coward's Fallen Angels and one of the world's most beloved musicals: Fiddler on the Roof! Our patrons will get a taste of these shows, with sneak-peek performances by some of your favorite Walnut performers and inside info from the Producing Artistic Director, Bernard Havard.
