Space Still Available for Teens in Summerstage Session at People’s Light For Immediate Release: June 25, 2009
For Students Interested in Acting, THE ACTING PROCESS Is Designed to Develop and Deepen Performance Skills The Theatre School at People’s Light still has slots available for students in the Teen 2 Summerstage session THE ACTING PROCESS. Classes take place Monday—Friday, July 20—August 7, 2009 at Delaware Valley Friends School in Paoli, PA. Teaching Artists Elizabeth Webster Duke and Bill Dawe lead the session. Students going into grades 9—12 are invited to sign up. The cost for 3 weeks is $650, with some scholarships still available. No previous experience necessary. Students will be guided in developing their individual skills through a range of work featuring improvisation, character development, voice, movement, writing, ensemble technique, and script work. The program is designed for students of all levels and will culminate in a sharing of student work.
