Steven Calakos, a name familiar to audiences due to his performances in “My Fair Lady”, “Ebenezer”, and the “Delco Idol” contest, returns to The Media Theatre stage Saturday November 14 for a special concert at 7:30pm.

“Steven Calakos In Concert” features the popular vocalist singing theatre and pop favorites. The event is a fundraiser for The Media Theatre.

Calakos was a top 12 finalist in NBC’s national talent search “You’re The One That I Want” in which contestants were selected to appear as the lead roles in Broadway’s recent revival of “Grease”. He has been seen in the Cumberland County College productions of “Seussical” and “West Side Story” and studied at Rowan University. He will reprise the role of “Ebenezer” at The Media Theatre again this holiday season.

Local veterans may remember Calakos as Josh in the Media Theatre and Veterans Museum cooperatively produced “Women In The Military” which was created by Artistic Director Jesse Cline.
